What is gang up imposition?
Gang up (gang run) imposition places several different jobs on one sheet so they are printed and cut together. It reduces waste, setup time and material cost compared to printing every job separately.
How many layouts can I combine on one sheet?
Up to 3 layouts, each with its own size and quantity. The tool finds how many sheets are needed, how many pieces of each layout fit per sheet, the number of cuts and the waste percentage. Pieces are rotated by 90° when it improves the fit. Sheet sizes from 200 × 200 mm up to 1060 × 750 mm are supported.
Which roll widths does roll imposition support?
Roll widths of 1600, 1370 and 1050 mm plus one custom roll from 300 to 5000 mm. You can set bleed, non-printable edges and strips, and optionally enter a price per m² to see the material cost.
Is the imposition tool free to use?
Yes. Both web tools are free and work without registration.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes. Sticker Optimizer is available on the App Store and does the same gang up and roll imposition as the web tools. It is free to download and free for quantities up to 500 pcs.
